Welcome to the International Museum of Motherhood (M.O.M.)!

The mission of M.O.M. is to showcase the value of mothers, mother-art and mother-work around the world, while documenting the herstory of (m)others in perpetuity.

M.O.M. is a real and virtual social change museum focused on amplifying the voices and experiences of mothers while connecting 'the cultural family'.  Women, families and communities  participate in exhibits, herstory, art, dialog, literature, film, storytelling, theater, dance, music, and empowerment through educational experiences.

M.O.M. preserves, collects, and interprets a herstoy of achievement and advances by women who are mothers and related materials and information to promote the understanding and appreciation of the cultural diversity and general collective impact of mothers. M.O.M. strives to document mother's evolving role as it pertains to women's circumstances, environment, responsibilities, health, significance, influence, position and creativity in perpetuity.
