Apparently it was meant for the post to be on the site twice, my apologies. :)

Namaste and May The Powers That Be continue to bless this initiative.

Words cannot express the value of the M(other)s in this world. Without the strength of my Grandmother's and my Mother, I would not be the person that I am today. From Betty Chapman, Mary Hassler and Marti Hassler-Chapman, I have been blessed with the ability to survive.

Women constantly give back, to the M(other) figured in my life that have served as Mentors and Friends, I thank you: Joy Rose & Sally Hughes.

To my sister Jessica Randolph. You are a Goddess!

This movement is beyond important, it is an extreme necessity.

My participation in this movement has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It has truly begun the enlightenment process of becoming a Woman.

my mother would be proud of me. She made my boyfriend (at the time, now hes gonna be my husband) make a promise to her that he would take care of me, and he accepted and has held true to that promise. I lost my mother the minute I woke up, the morning after Mother's Day. She battled lung cancer, and according to her, we believed she was on top of it. She was such a strong woman, she drove herself to her kemo, ( i took her to her last one, and took a pic of her) we thought we had beat it, she thought she could be back to work then she found out, she developed brain tumors, and just couldnt fight it. But to of had my mother's fight like a tiger and have the determination to survive as long as she did, I couldnt be prouder. I miss my mother more than anything,I'm getting married this sept, and she wont be there in person, but I'm positive her spirit will be felt everywhere, in every heart, Especially mine. She came home the tuesday before mothers day (it'll be 2 years, this year) and told me and my brother it was time for her to go and i said no mom, your gonna know when its time to go,just please make sure im here with you and i begged her to give me one more mothers day, and i watched her battle with god to give me that, and she did. I just hope she knows how much she means and will always mean to me,and everyone she left behind. I wouldnt be who I am today with out her. I love you Mom.

In regards to My Mother, Burnice; You’ve been my Rock You’re strong as stone You are a Queen upon a Throne You’re my Moma With you, I will always have a home never left alone even when the time comes your stories given to your children will carry on You lead the way taught me to pray Always knew that tomorrow would bring a better day When I come to a fork in the road It’s your amazing spirit that leads me down the right path I wouldn’t take one spanking back Cause, without it I wouldn’t be where I’m at Strong, Proud and not afraid to lead the crowd Your art is marvelous Your will is outstanding Your Love is everlasting As a single mother you were able to do it all pay bills, spins wheels, make deals, and look good while doing it all That’s my Moma, Burnice
